For years I've longed to experience the Northern Lights.  I've purchased books, read about the best places to go and see them. I've made lists of gear I needed to survive the brutal cold I was going to  endure.  Little did I know, I could experience them near my home.  After several attempts I finally saw the Aurora on May 10, 2024 sitting on a beach in Michigan wearing a light jacket!
